As always, the additions to the original tracks are so seamlessly and sensitively added, they sound like they were always meant to be there. Interestingly, back before he became one of the greatest singer/songwriters of the 70s and 80s, Elton had a side-hustle appearing on ‘Top Of The Tops’ covers albums here in the UK, and they alway gave him the reggae numbers to sing so this is kind of full circle.
